F. Harley’s Ambient Cooling and Humidification Systems work on the basis of evaporation principle. Based on the said principle, in order to maximize the capability of water to absorb heat from the atmosphere, our system employs a way to create 5 micron size water droplets, which evaporate immediately after absorbing the heat. The micro-fine mist, which is 10 times smaller than the diameter of hair, is not dissimilar to natural fog. The optimum amount of mist created also helps in inducing the desired level of humidification in specialized processes like fermentation of tea leaves.
This principle is known as ‘Flash Evaporation’ and can reduce the ambient temperature by 5-10 Degrees Celsius without any ‘wetting’ feeling.
